Frontier Strategy Partners Welcomes Healthcare Executive Tyler Schmidtz

Frontier Strategy Partners is pleased to announce that Tyler Schmidtz, MBA, has joined our team, bringing over 25 years of transformational healthcare leadership experience to our organization.

A distinguished healthcare executive, Schmidtz most recently served as Vice President of Surgical and Radiology Services Lines for HealthPartners Medical Group and Regions Hospital, where he managed operations across 29 operating rooms and multiple surgical practices. In this role, he led a team of over 1,500 staff members and oversaw gross revenue of $1.17 billion, consistently exceeding budget targets while driving strategic growth initiatives.

Throughout his notable 20-year tenure at HealthPartners/Regions, Schmidtz held several key leadership positions, including Vice President of Operations and Ancillary Services. His comprehensive oversight included Laboratory Services, Pharmacy, Radiology, and various medical specialties such as Audiology, Dermatology, Nephrology, and Urology. He also spearheaded patient experience initiatives, engaging over 6,000 employees in cultural and strategic improvements that enhanced community care delivery.

Schmidtz holds a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Saint Olaf College and an MBA in Medical Group Management from the University of Saint Thomas. He is a former Certified Medical Practice Executive (CMPE) and completed the America's Health Insurance Plans Executive Leadership Program.
